Respected American penman, b. 1868, Quincy, IL, d. 1948, Quincy, IL. Author of Lessons in Practical Penmanship (publ. D.L. Musselman, Quincy, IL). He taught penmanship his entire life in Quincy, IL, at the Gem City Business College. He is remembered for his exceptionally graceful flourished birds and swans.
