Julia Borisovna Balasheva

Russian designer of the pictogram typeface Lubok typeface (2003, Linotype), which consists of cute fairy tale dingbats. The term lubok refers to a popular style of Russian folk art printing, which dates back to the 18th century. Lubok won an award at the Linotype International Type Design Contest 2003.
