Sergio Polano
Professor of Aesthetics, Architecture Faculty, IUAV University in Venice, b. 1950. At ATypI in Rome in 2002, he spoke about the state of art in type design in Italy and the history of Italian type design in the twentieth century. He wrote extensively on Aldo Novarese: "Aldo Novarese: Letters Are Things" (Emigre, Sacramento, vol. 26, spring 1993, pp. 30-37), "Aldo Novarese.
